Osseo United

Methodist Church

Osseo, Minnesota

Each week we gather to honor Jesus Christ; experience the fullness of salvation; and spread salvation as we are led by His Spirit.  Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE!

Join us Sundays for ON-LINE worship on Facebook and YouTube at Osseo UMC.  Participate in DRIVE-IN worship by parking in our parking lot and listening to AM 1110 and FM 102.7 or on your Smart Phone on Facebook at Osseo UMC.  We recommend you enter the parking on the north side of the building.  There will be ushers there with bulletins and needed information.  The IN-PERSON worship is in our sanctuary and follows all CDC guidelines. All three Sunday worship services begin at 9:30 AM.

Restrooms are available inside. Families with children are welcome to come inside for individual rooms equipped with radios for worship. MDH guidelines are followed. Enter through Education door.

The coronavirus has made it difficult for many of us to tithe and donate to a variety of groups within the church. Now you are able to tithe without leaving your home. Just click on the “Give Here” button below.  Your gift is truly appreciated.

Welcome to Osseo United Methodist Church!

We are Jesus’ Church!  We belong to Him.  Therefore, together we seek Him fully and serve Him wholly. This church family has one call: to live as Jesus’ Church, whatever it requires.  Consequently, we focus on connecting with Jesus and being changed by Jesus, so like Him, we are led by God.  Join us for this journey where we experience His transforming grace and share it with whomever desires it.  May God richly bless you.

What to Expect

In the pandemic, things have changed a bit. What hasn’t changed is that you are valued, and your presence is precious to us! Currently, on Sundays you can join us for Drive In Worship in our parking lot, receive Holy Communion each week in a safe but meaningful way, or sing, pray and worship with us wherever you are at on Facebook. Additionally, if you provide your email or cell phone number, you can connect with us throughout the week in virtual small groups of fellowship, prayer, study and ministry. Our virtual youth fellowship is fun, personal and powerful!

Click on this link (what to expect) to find out what you will normally experience.

Experiencing Salvation

We value Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord and His works that restore us to intimacy with God and create a new life of obedience in the Holy Spirit.

(Titus 3:5-6)

Worshiping God

We value heartfelt worship that is God-honoring, Spirit-directed, and life-changing.

(John 4:23-24, Psalm 101:25)

Praying

We value prayer as the gift through which we communicate with God and through which God supplies our needs and accomplishes His will.

(Matthew 7:7-11)

Trusting the Bible

We value the Bible as God’s authoritative Word, study it together, and build our lives on its truth.

(2Timothy 3:16-17)

Growing with One Another

We value the fellowship and ministry of every believer, and an atmosphere of acceptance and mutual accountability, through which we develop our spiritual gifts, grow in servant leadership and unite in Christ.

(1 Corinthians 12:7, Ephesians 4:15-16)

Loving our Neighbor

We value all relationships as God-given and our call to love one another.

(John 13:34-35, 1 John 3:18)

Serving Compassionately

We value serving others at their point of need, following the example of our Lord Jesus.

(John 13:12-17, Matthew 25:34-40).

Witnessing to the World

We value our Holy Spirit-empowered identity as Christ’s witnesses to all people.

(Acts 1:8)

Pursuing Unity

We value the complete unity of Christ’s one Church and our part in it.

(John 17:23, Ephesians 4:2-6).

Blessing Families

We value families (or households) as God’s primary means of providing for, protecting and developing people.

(Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Joshua 24:14-15).
