Nursery

Individual rooms for family with children are available through the north-facing Education door. Rooms are equipped with radios tuned to the worship service. Rooms are cleaned after each use per MDH guidelines. Ask an usher if you need help with anything.

Normally, we provide nursery during the church service for children under the age of two. The Nursery is located in the Education Wing, Room 2. The Sunday morning nursery is provided by one paid staff member or a volunteer. The paid staff member has CPR training and abides by our Safe Sanctuary Policy.

Rally Day

Third Grade  Bibles

On the second Sunday in September, our Rally Day celebration kicks off the beginning of our fall church and Sunday School schedule. It is a time to welcome new and returning students.

All 3rd Graders are presented a special Bible by our church to be used during Sunday School classes and becomes a wonderful gift to help them grow in their foundation of faith.

Children’s Sermon

Christmas  Program

On the second Sunday of the month, 1st through 6th grade children attend the worship service with their parents. Following the Children’s Sermon they are excused to attend their Sunday School class.

Every year we choose a new theme for an exciting Christmas Program for our students to present to the congregation during the Worship Service.

Spring Fair

Giving

In the spring of each year the students gather together to celebrate Easter and the beginning of spring. They learn the meaning of the symbols of Easter, the sacrifice of our Lord, and the new life that spring and Easter symbolize for us all.

Our children are given the opportunity to participate in giving to those in need in many ways. They bring nonperishable food items for Harvest Sunday in November where donations go to the CROSS Food Shelf. We also have ongoing projects for giving during the Sunday School year.
